Why I added a blog to this portfolio

A portfolio of finished projects only shows so much. I wanted somewhere to write about what’s actually going on— what I’m working on, what I’m figuring out, and the decisions that don’t make it into a case study.

I’m picturing it mostly as an unpolished running log: short posts, no particular schedule, things I’ve learned or changed my mind about. That said, I’m sure it’ll bend as I go. If something’s worth explaining properly, I’d rather take the time to write it up well than force it into a quick note. The point isn’t to be comprehensive or polished. It’s just somewhere to think out loud.

Some of it will be about design and code. Some of it might just be about my daily life— what’s taking up my headspace, something that caught my attention, or how a regular day is actually going. I’d rather it feel like a person wrote it than a portfolio did.
